Chaise Longues

Nothing else conjures up an air of sophistication like the chaise longue does. For some reason here at Chic Living it always makes us think of the 1920s but we know it's been around far longer than that.

It's certainly become rather trendy of late and we can understand why. For a start they're incredibly comfortably and secondly, they can add a unique feel to a room. Thirdly, they're often a lot prettier to look at than a sofa. And, the Scala range from Habitat comes equipped for either the right or left-armed lounger.

We're particularly fond of the Sidney modular range from Habitat - and not just because it's sculpted from beautiful Italian leather. We also love the generous seating (not that we need it but our visitors might!).

Another favourite is the elegant Lucca Sherlock/Demy range from John Lewis with its striped piped reverse scatter cushion.
